News!

We have just returned from the UK having exhibited at the Bird Fair again this year. It was great to chat to so many past guests and to meet people who are already booked to come this year and next! Serra dos Tucanos Lodge stand at the Bird Fair

Our guide Cirilo has just finished guiding a group from Birdfinders, they had an excellent week with a total of 245 species recorded, of which 77 were Atlantic Forest endemics!

The group managed to find a new species for the Serra dos Tucanos list (getting harder to do this now!), with Mottled Owl on the Portao Azul excursion!

Finally the Golden Lion Tamarins have made it onto our feeding platform! Two were seen a couple of days ago feeding on the upper platform together with some Buffy tufted eared Marmosets! Hopefully this will turn into a regular ritual!
